Moore Library Interlibrary Loan Article Request

When the Franklin F. Moore Library does not have the book or periodical article that you need in its collection, the Library may obtain it from another library through interlibrary loan, which averages 2 weeks or less in turnaround time. Rider University students, faculty, and administrative staff may request photocopies of periodical articles by filling out the Article Request Form below.

NOTICE: WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.

Check the Library's holdings for print copies or online copies available in databases by going to "Find Full Text Journals" on the RU Libraries' homepage, entering the name of journal, magazine, newspaper in the query box, then click "Search." If the RU Libraries do not have the item, please fill out the ILL request form.

Photocopied articles received at no charge will be sent to the requester. Articles with charges will be held for pick-up at the Circulation Desk; requesters will be notified when these items arrive and charges must be paid upon pick-up.
